It's Trilobite Tuesday! Pictured is a 2-in- (5-cm-) long Bumastoides from Wisconsin’s Platteville Formation. Partial specimens of the Ordovician trilobite are relatively common finds at this locale, while fully articulated examples, like this one, are exceedingly rare.
We are back with another #trilobitetuesday Here is the pygidium from the trilobite Basidechenella rowi. This specimen comes from the Middle Devonian Dundee Limestone (also referred to as the Columbus Limestone) from Sylvania, Ohio.

Stopped by the Grassy Lake amber locality today. The large chunks of amber w inclusions originate from the Taber Coal Zone of the Foremost Formation and are ~78 million years old. The site is famous for producing exquisite #dinosaur & bird feathers trapped in amber. #SADP2025
