Hodge Hill officers have been out conducting patrols around the local area in regards to concerns around untaxed vehicles and illegal parking. We have recovered a number of vehicles for not having valid tax and issued a number of parking enforcements. #Taxitorloseit

Today marks the 77th anniversary since the arrival of HMT Empire Windrush. Labour has appointed a Windrush commissioner Reverend Clive Foster MBE to be a trusted representative. We won’t rest until justice is achieved.
On this day in 1948 Empire Windrush arrived in the UK & an amazing new chapter in the Birmingham story began. Today we say thank you to the #Windrush generation who helped shape modern Birmingham. The children & grandchildren of that generation continue to make their mark.
