A busy time at Jaffray Planning Fields with a number of football activities going on. Caught up with Adam from AC Sports Football Development working with young people to "building confidence through football". Remember that the Pheonix Sports & Activity Camp starts on Monday!

This Saturday morning from 10.30am I will be holding my second community advice surgery of the month this time at St. Chad’s Church on Stoneyhurst Road right in the heart of Gravelly Hill. No appointment is needed to drop by to discuss any local concerns you may have.

Reminder that this Saturday from 1 pm is the Summer BBQ at Birches Green Allotments from 1pm. An amazing opportunity to look at the Eco Garden as well as the other amazing plots.

My advice surgery is open to all residents living in the Gravelly Hill Ward. No appointment is needed, so residents can simply drop in and raise any issues they have about local service. My next surgery is at the Seventh Day Adventist Church this Wednesday from 5 30pm to 7pm.

After a busy roving bureau including supporting several resident impacted by a large tree and catching up with a local Police officer, off to meet Wayne Henry and the amazing Pheonix United.




It was a real pleasure to be out with Erdington Litter Busters and the amazing Birmz is Grime team all coming together to help eachother achieve common goals. Don't worry not forgotten about the boxing links!




Great to see Erdington Litter Busters not only putting fully formed plants out but encouraging residents and their children to get more involved by supplying seeds, obtainable from Erdington Library. #LetsMakeGravellyHillGreen



Back at St Chad's, a really active part of the Community, to catch up with the team from the Active Wellbeing Society at their bi weekly visit to loan general peices of sports or gardening items as well as meeting people accessing the weekly Erdington Food Club.




An amazing time at St Chad's Church this morning meeting with the National Literacy Trust team looking to encourage reading in the area with their 'book swoop scheme" and the Well Women's Cub providing crochet lessons as part of their Wednesday sessions.
