Coventry’s DOCK-Y is backing my Growth Plan to grow their AI safety tech for e-scooters & e-bikes. "We want to create jobs here in the West Midlands, not Silicon Valley. All we need is that final push to grow." I’m giving them that push.
Today I paid my respects, alongside colleagues from @BhamCityCouncil and @BM_AG, by signing the book of condolences at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. Ozzy was a working-class hero of Birmingham, with raw talent, resilience and a spark of defiance - a true son of the city.
A true Birmingham icon and an inspiration, he changed music forever. The greatest there was. My thoughts are with his loved ones at this incredibly sad time.

Great British Energy 🤝 Metro Mayors Cutting energy bills for local libraries, fire stations, community centres, care homes and many more places. That’s what clean power is delivering for our communities. Lower bills, energy security, good jobs and climate action.
