Streets for people 🇵🇸
@BrendaPuech
Streets for walking, wheeling, wandering, cycling. Green Party 🇵🇸 #FreePalestine.
@MothinAli would make a great Deputy Leader for the @TheGreenParty. He also happens to make the best ever garlic pickle.😃

We imprison those who want to stop arms sales to Israel and treat THEM as terrorists. Makes me sick.

I support @MothinAli for Deputy Leader of the @TheGreenParty

Blimey, we seem to have a lot of retired vicars, teachers and housewives who are apparently part of a massive placard wielding, terrorist cell! Who would have thought it!

Our brave police having to deal with a terrorist on our streets. Holding her so that she cannot escape.
"Many of them.. with hand written placards, you can see one of the police officers holding one, it says 'I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action" As @NickJBBC reports we watch two brave Met police officers leading one of the dangerous protesters away.
What does this remind you of?
A displaced, starving Palestinian woman: “I haven’t eaten in 5 days. I just want food. I walk a little and feel dizzy — my stomach is empty.”
For as long as it takes, if not my generation, it will be our children or their children who will bring the criminals who starved Yazan and the children of #Gaza to justice.
I saw this brave woman at the Palestine demonstration on Saturday 19th. Wouldn't be surprised if she is arrested by @metpoliceuk.
"If more people came out 80 years ago for the Jews, fewer people would have been murdered." Jewish Holocaust child survivor, Agnes Kory, told MEE why she keeps coming out to pro-Palestine protests in all weather conditions, despite being in her 80s.
Compare this principled stand by BRICS to the 'western' world unconditional support for Israel. Who represents the moral compass of the world more?
BRICS summit joint declaration: - Says Gaza is inseparable part of Palestine - Addresses the need for unification of occupied West Bank and Gaza - Backs establishment of independent state of Palestine - Condemns terror in Syria and Israeli occupation of Syrian land -…
With the challenges that face us now I'm confident that @NicolaDay78 and @Faaiz4HarrowRd will be able to come up with the right strategy to deliver success. It's my privilege to support them both! It's time for something fresh, to shake things up!

Me too.
I live in a country that gives military support to another country which is killing thousands of civilians while proscribing an organisation which protests about it.
Haaretz reports that Israeli food companies are making HUGE profits from smuggling limited food into Gaza for which they can make astronomical profits.

Good to see the UN on our side. The right side. We have a long tradition of non-violent direct action against injustice and now terrorism. That doesn't make us terrorists. Framing us as 'terrorists' is desperate and plainly fascistic.
Independent experts today urged the UK 🇬🇧 not to ban the “direct action” group @Pal_action as a terrorist organisation under the Terrorism Act 2000. “Acts of protest that damage property, but are not intended to kill or injure people, should not be treated as #terrorism.”
Ilan Pappe sums up the whole awful situation so well. Though I think the answer is one state with equal rights for all.
“Europe should have offered the Jews a state on half of Germany.. that would be a real good compensation for the Holocaust..” “Building a Jewish state at the expense of people who had nothing to do with European anti-Semitism was a very bad idea..” —Israeli historian Ilan Pappé
Well said @sianberry! Proscribing Palestine Action is playing into hands of those complicit in terrorising and massacring Palestinians.
In similar cases, juries have found protestors not guilty based on a belief that they were acting from a desire to prevent war crimes. Proscribing Palestine Action sets a dangerous and worrying precedent.
And we still call Israel our allies, sell them arms and trade with them, and refuse to condemn anything they do.
Perfect riposte
Polio was eradicated because Jonas Salk chose not to patent the vaccine, if you want a perfect example of a socialist act.

But not Israel's facilities. It really is important that no one gets access to Israel's facilities. That is really important. It's also important that no one mentions that we can't get access to Israel's facilities.
"It really is important that the IAEA get access to Iranian facilities." Former Nato director William Alberque tells @krishgm it's crucial that Iran reveals where it's nuclear material is, and that it is "put back under safeguards." Read and watch here: channel4.com/news/where-is-…
