Here are 9 agility games we’ve played as a warmup this summer. These all require minimal equipment or setup time. Some of these were inspired by or taken from posts I saw on twitter. If you recognize one that’s associated with another coach, please tag them for credit.

Two years ago, all the top 10’s were 1.16 to 1.11. After year one, they were all 1.14 to 1.10, but we only ran it three times. We timed the 10 to 20 a lot more this past year than I have in years prior. Every single one of these times occurred between February and today.

If you coach middle school kids, These drills should be your best friend. Vast majority can start loading the hinge within 2-6 sessions of this. I’ll add goblet squats their second session, DB zercher good mornings the third (if ready), and zombie squats the fourth.

I saw a tip to brush your teeth with your non dominant hand to be gentler to the gums. I tried it and it felt like a complete stranger was trying to brush my teeth. Not even an acquaintance, a stranger off the street
