Going to start a thread about architecture in Khorasan and Khwarezm and also its offshoot, India: The Tilla Kari madrasa was commissioned a decade after the adjacent Shir Dar madrasa (1619-1636) by the same patron, Shaybanid feudal general, Alchin Yalantush Bahadur (1646-60).
Iranian diaspora monarchists are disgusting and I am glad they are a bunch of weak coward losers who will never defeat their Mullahs. Very unfortunate we share so many things with this “people”.
This Iranian zionist is worse than Daniella Weiss. He supports the IDF snipping Palestinian kids. It's even too far for his fascists mates.

The Hadith about the “Black Banners of Khorasan” was forged by the Abbasid Caliphate as a tribute to Abu Muslim Khorasani and his black wearing followers who led the anti-Umayyad revolution. It’s not related to the Taliban at all BTW. Reminder that their flag is literally white.
The Black Banners Will Appear 6 Years Before Imam Mahdi: 1/6 The following Ahadith state that an army from the East (from Khorasan) carrying black banners will lay the foundation for the Mahdi’s future dominion, six years before He (ra) appears. The name “Khorasan” is derived…

Joking guys, my favourite armour is the Timurid period. The combination of coat of plates, lamellar and laminar plates as well as mail, along with decorated textiles is a different level of aesthetics. Too bad not many people draw it here...🥲
It's late medieval plate armour, of course!
7th-13th century mail and lamellar, from Transoxania and the Tarim Basin
What's your ABSOLUTE FAVORITE armor in all of history?
Herat in Khorasan is possibly the oldest carpet weaving centre in all of the Persian world. The earliest geometric Persian rugs are known to have been woven there, and during the 16th and 17th centuries a specific style of dense floral patterning is attributed to Herat's looms.
Apparently Afghanistan is the world's only state not to bother with the facade of "elections" at all. Incredible powermove from the Taliban. Even Saudi, Bantu or Uzbek despots feel compelled to put on some kind of charade, but the simple Pashtun is unfazed by such anxieties.
In 1839, when the anti-Jewish Allahdad pogrom took place in the Iranian city of Mashhad, it was the humble Muslim people of my hometown Herat who have shelter and protection to the Jews. Some people are not worthy and deserving of experiencing honorable acts.
They hated us before Zionism. Zionism is just their latest excuse.
The Persian word farang (Frank, broadly referring to Europeans) entered Chinese as folangji 佛郎机 via the Malay intermediary form ferenggi.
"The second battle of Tarain is regarded as the decisive contest which ensured the ultimate success of the Mohammadans on Hindustan. All the numerous subsequent attacks were merely consequences of the overwhelming defeat of the Hindu league on the plain to the north of Delhi”…
