They only looked at side effects that occurred 1 week after discontinuation. Many antidepressant medications (including prozac) take multiple weeks to fully leave the body. I'd also be curious to know how long participants in the studies had been taking the antidepressants for.

An outlaw can be defined as somebody who lives outside the law, beyond the law and not necessarily against it.
I wasn't trying to be an outlaw writer. I never heard of that term; somebody else made it up. But we were all outside the law: Kerouac, Miller, Burroughs, Ginsberg, Kesey; I didn't have a gauge as to who was the worst outlaw. I just recognized allies: my people.

NAMI accepts millions of dollars in annual funding from pharmaceutical companies. Their CEO's base salary in 2022 was about $350,000. But they still brand themselves as a "grassroots" initiative. So ... I ask: What are they REALLY advocating for?
Suicide rates in America peaked during / immediately following the covid pandemic and have remained almost identical since then. The rate of suicide between 1999 - 2022 increased by about 37% (with a slight decrease in 2018-2019 but otherwise year-after-year was an upward trend)
Was just doing some more research on the latest suicide statistics for the USA ... they're virtually identical to the grim stats from 2-3 years ago. Suicide remains a major public health crisis despite psych meds being more widespread than ever before. Why could this be?

Research found that dropout rates for men in therapy is around 44.8%. Why are so many leaving treatment? Many say the format and framing of the sessions didn’t align with what they need. We have to have more male-led and male-focused therapy solutions! Ideas?
