Wow - when this location at 11th and H NW opened in 1992, Capitol City Brewery was the first brewery to be open in DC since 1956. Shirlington closed in 2018

Invited back to @ElRey_DC Navy Yard with @eat_dc to sample some food and drinks. Great nachos, these elote fritters are delicious. Outdoor bar is cool. Def right now featuring more of an happy hour/dinner crowd for great specials compared to original location
The new El Rey Navy Yard (on the Anacostia between All Purpose and Solace) is very nicely done. Massive outdoor patio features a bar and tons of TVs. Inside is definitely cozier but nice color palette and design. Mostly bar height seating and booths. $4 beer and $7 margs at HH
