Father · Husband · Son · Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky · Committed to setting a positive tone and fighting for all our families.
Last Nov in KY we saw a rejection of anger politics. It’s clear people are sick of politicians trying to tear us apart. That’s why I started In This Together PAC to support good candidates in tough races running for the right reasons—pushing back against divisiveness & vitriol.
Gov. Andy Beshear is a rising Democratic star. He has new PAC to prove it courier-journal.com/story/news/pol…
The 'big, ugly bill' is going to hit rural America and every community across the United States. With hospitals closing, people being fired and higher costs for health care, we'll see fewer people going to local restaurants, shopping at businesses and more.
Folks, here is the truth: Work requirements when it comes to Medicaid are a ruse. It doubles the paperwork, hoping someone will check the wrong box and lose their coverage. It's wrong, and it's cruel.
This is not about Democrat or Republican – these funds were appropriated by Congress for the education of Kentucky’s children, and it’s my job to fight for them on behalf of our kids, our people and our future. courier-journal.com/story/news/edu…

Had a great conversation with Governor Beshear on the @andybeshearpod on how the Trump administration’s harmful budget reconciliation bill will hurt working families, and how the labor movement is organizing to protect working people nationwide. andybeshearpodcast.com
The federal cuts taking place are a betrayal of rural America. Cuts to Medicaid will hammer rural economies, cut health-care jobs and strip families of coverage. Cuts to the US Dept. of Education will hurt rural public schools, leaving kids behind. America deserves better.

Families are struggling to pay the bills right now, and here in my home state of Kentucky, we're doing what we can to provide some relief.
We've got to put the American people first by focusing on good jobs, public safety, health care and education. These are the things that let folks care for their families. That's where my focus is every day.

Kentucky, let’s stand strong together and support our Lexington neighbors during this difficult time. 3/3
Violence like this has no place in our commonwealth or country. Please join Britainy and me as we pray for the families of those lost, each one a child of God gone too soon. Thank you to the @lexkypolice and @kystatepolice for their brave efforts today. 2/3
I’m heartbroken to share the shooting in Lexington at Richmond Road Baptist Church has taken the lives of two people. Other injuries — including a Kentucky State Police trooper from the initial stop — are being treated at a nearby hospital. The shooter has also been killed. 1/3
Please pray for everyone affected by these senseless acts of violence, and let’s give thanks for the swift response by the Lexington Police Department and Kentucky State Police. Details are still emerging, and we will share more information as available. 2/2
