Birmingham bin workers cannot be expected to accept an £8000 pay cut. An attack on bin workers, is an attack on all workers.

Dear @wesstreeting This govt doesn’t do “working together” — unless you’re a billionaire. From Birmingham bin workers to resident doctors, the chaos is clear. Divide and rule: an old trick. Shameful to see it from our government. @TheBMA

Don’t question the mandate of the BMA when your own constituents came within a whisker of removing you. To see a Labour minister asking resident doctors to break their own picket lines is shameful. I can assure you no postal worker will cross those hospital picket lines.

The BBC continues to push the idea that it will cost £100 billion to renationalise the water industry. That figure comes from a report funded by the private water companies! #politicslive

The problem they're dancing around on #PoliticsLive is that the Cunliffe review of the water system was specifically forbidden from naming the real problem: privatisation. Without clearing out the grubby profiteers, there's no way to clean up our water.
