📅#OTD 1643, Lord Willoughby takes #Gainsborough from the royalists. He captures the Earl of Kingston & sends him by ship to Hull. The ship 'Being espied by a Party of the King's Forces, they drew up some Musqueteers .. and discharged' accidentally killing Kingston in his cabin.
