I studied in St Anslems, they never let us Hindus into church, very secular indeed
I never studied at St Anselms but I am aware there is no bar from non Christians entering the church. There was none in my School, St Joseph’s College, Nainital.

A wonderful article by Naseeruddin Shah. I entirely subscribe to his views. We were, fortunately, insulated from bigotry. I find the same wonderful ethos in my interaction with most Army colleagues. There will always be some who are different because of the anonymity of WhatsApp

Maj Gen Habibullah was an icon much admired. There is no bar on Muslim entry to Armed Forces. Unfortunately the number of aspirants is exceedingly low. A large number of my family members are serving with honour & dignity. There is nothing better than the profession of Arms.

Justice should be equitable. Weigh Ali Khan Mahmudabad’s post with the vitriolic statement by a state Minister and decide who deserves punishment. Our courts have always dispensed justice and this time too they will ensure this.
This is the post that got Ashoka University professor Ali Khan Mahmudabad arrested by Haryana police. Can't see any issue with it whatsoever. Maybe these days, even long sentences can lead to long sentences.
I always maintained that in the Army the best assessment of an officer was by the men under him. This letter of support by the students of Prof Ali Khan Mahmudabad speaks volumes of the high regard they have for their teacher. Justice should be equitable. In this case it hasn’t.

The sheer incompetence of the Indian Navy in protecting the widow of its slain officer speaks volumes of the mindset of the leadership at the top echelons. The CNS could’ve done way better….the subservient Sanghi mindset is so evident. Poor show !!!
