The Homeless Industrial Complex has had a meltdown regarding Trumpโs executive order on homelessness. This is not surprising, but also sad. 90% of the homeless population are drug addicts and our federal government is relocating significant resources to help
In the tunnels, Emily Damari saw five girls in a cage. One remained with her : Romi Gonen. For months, they tried to keep each other alive. On the worst days, they planned their suicide just to end the pain. 50 hostages are still there, suffering and waiting. Bring them home.
A few things can be true at once: 1. Israelโs war in Gaza is justified 2. Hamas could end it tomorrow by returning the hostages and surrendering 3. This new food distribution thing is NOT WORKING and people are suffering. It has to be fixed.

This may sound crazy but this is one of my favorite things about Israel: Watching the Israeli news and seeing the head of Peace Now and the head of a right wing organization tear each other apart verbally. These โexchangesโ happen all the time and I hope we never lose it.

Every single time I hear someone in the media question whether Mahmoud Khalil or his wife condemns Hamas I can't help but recall the time a week after 10/7 he literally sent spit flying in my face ranting about Jews and how great Hamas was.
Is it me or is no one talking about this?
