Bowie’s diary: ‘My first with Lennon, a Beatle’ Seeing this written out (it’s in the V&A) was extremely affecting
me in my room whenever i remember that david bowie and john lennon genuinely hopped on a track together and that’s not something i made up in my head
Gumby stayed with his friend Errol Flynn 'many times' but has never confirmed whether he knew of Flynn's use of two-way mirrors.

To survive in the post-COVID era, the Williamstown Theatre Festival needs more than prestige. Can it become the Coachella of live theater? f-st.co/A2xc2t9

I sincerely hope that this @oasis tour buzz will encourage the young creatives to start bands and make music with instruments instead of computers

With respect to my friend - - passionate - honest - discreet - more talented than handsome - sensual in thought, language, action - has a reputation - unpredictable, a hint of danger - actually likes women this is Casanova, it's also Jarvis Cocker
Being in England I now see why someone like Jarvis cocker became a sex icon. There's not a lot of material here
I have no great loyalty to Jesse Green as a critic but the Times's justification for reassigning him sounds an awful lot like 'We want a theatrical outsider to give a simple thumbs up or down!'
Who’s the real snob here - the person who liked going to the video store to discover new things? Or the one who went, saw row upon row of what was at the Googoplex last month, and thought ‘Aah, I’m home’?
This thing we all universally agree was good for our social lives and surrounding communities was bad actually, because I wanted to watch a TV movie from 1977 and they didn't have it.
Honestly since James Daunt took over B&N they’re better than they ever were - giving managers buying power means they carry stuff the locals want but don’t know they do, or it’s beyond the reach of the local indie store - everybody wins
Yeah, yeah, and Barnes & Noble used to be the bad guys in the book game. But now look what we have.
Blockbuster was rubbish. The local video store had copies of foreign movies, movies that had been on TV once in 1977, Blaxploitation, stuff PBS gave away in pledge drives, adult section obscured by beads, etc. Blockbuster had 800 copies of Independence Day 🙄

Pleased & relieved to say I've found a job, & not a moment too soon. It will let me keep writing, too - not how I have recently, but I always knew that'd change. Thanks for looking after me. Without your support the past month would've been 1000 times more difficult. Much love.
