Most of the argument against the @oasis reunion tour is from snobby English muso/music-journo types that donβt want to understand their cultural impact because they donβt like the actual culture behind their success. Iβm from NYC and I never understood the resentment, I do now.
I think that @OzzyOsbourne βs impact on popular music is incredibly overlooked. Not to mention him along with Lennon, McCartney, Bowie or even Jagger is disingenuous and music snobbery at its most abject.
I sincerely hope that this @oasis tour buzz will encourage the young creatives to start bands and make music with instruments instead of computers
