⚠️#KitsapCounty: SB SR 3 at Loxie was shut down to one lane as a dump truck traveled into the ditch striking another vehicle. Luckily there were no serious injuries. The cause of the collision was a medical emergency. Only the on/off ramp is affected while we wait for the tow.

If you use the SR 104 Hood Canal Bridge, plan for longer-than-average wait times 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 15. The bridge will reduce to one lane while we replace this 16 foot, 6,000 pound, hydraulic cylinder. Read the news release for details wsdot.wa.gov/about/news/202…

Did you know summer is the most dangerous time on the roadway with an increase in fatal collisions. Top two reasons are DUI and speed. This driver was traveling at 109 mph in a 60 mph zone. This is unacceptable charges were forwarded for reckless driving. #drivesafe
