Eddie Jordan has revealed that he is battling cancer, prostate and bladder cancer that has spread to his pelvis and spine, with the spread being labelled “aggressive”. #F1
The L5S1 disc hemorrhaged at the 2023 Bahrain GP. Surgery and 10 days in hospital in Bahrain. Certain muscles in my right leg were paralyzed for a year, until a further spinal fusion surgery in April 2024. It was 50/50 if I would regain enough movement to run properly
Hey Sean. Can I ask gently what the spinal surgery was for and what it entailed for you, I’m embarking on a path for my own spinal surgery for scoliosis and I’m so under prepared and not informed about recovery etc getting passed about by doctors a tad at the moment and the…
Before my second spinal surgery in April, one of the neurosurgeons said my athletic recovery goal was to be fit enough to run one lap of the Yas Marina circuit in December. On Sunday night, 251 days after leaving the operating table, the goal of lapping Yas Marina became reality

I lost my sister Lisa in the early hours of Monday. Despite Down syndrome, a hole in the heart and other ailments meaning she wasn’t supposed to survive infancy, she lived to see her 50th birthday, and was always so kind, gentle and friendly to everyone. We are devastated 💔

The BBC just posted a full 1969 colour episode of Wheelbase focused on Bruce McLaren’s eponymous racing team. What a thing to see now that they are finally F1 champions in papaya for the first time youtu.be/EwbK7U_rrgo?si…
Numbers 5 and 27 at Sauber. One race-winning driver connects them :)

Doing my travel expenses. Some interesting contrasts: Airport-hotel taxi in Doha (7.7 miles): US$13.41 Airport-hotel taxi in Las Vegas (1.7 miles): US94.52
This Pit Stop tops the world record stop for me. We knew it could make or break the championship and that we had the whole team’s hopes in our hands. To smash a 2 second stop was the cheery 🧡 #McLaren #AbuDhabiGP
It's time for the last DHL Fastest Pit Stop of the 2024 season, and it belongs to our world champions, @McLarenF1! #F1 #DHLF1 #AbuDhabiGP
Clearly, Red Bull must see things from a different perspective on the inside. They’ve won more world championships than us, so they are clearly onto something with this F1 lark, but it does seem harsh on Tsunoda

But how many times have we heard that from Max, or Lewis, or Charles, or others? The big boys are also known for spitting their dummy out when things go wrong, it’s not as though Yuki is the only one

I suppose that could be debated, but there have been lots of sons of F1 drivers who were mediocre at best. Everyone i've ever spoken to about Max was convinced of his god-tier abilities from the very start.
Would max have reached F1 if he wasn't a verstappen?
I must admit, I've also questioned that myself. On the other hand, would Tsunoda have reached F1 were he NOT Japanese, based on his junior results? Perhaps that door of opportunity works in both directions
If Yuki was European, teams would be drooling for him
He ended Daniel Ricciardo's F1 career, he beat Liam Lawson in every qualifying session as teammates in 2024 and he scored RB's three best GP results this year. Red Bull should probably sack him because if this isn't sufficient to deserve a chance then he's better off elsewhere
Haha, your tweets are never dull. Yuki was great for his first 3-5 races in 2021? Something like that. Been erratic ever since
Yuki and Checo. PLOT TWIST!
Which 2025 Red Bull driver pairing would you like to see? 👀💬
Well indeed. I don’t have accurate information on Philip Fotheringham-Parker
I would go so far as to say it's impossible to verify whether Gasly would be the first one to achieve this. Damage cost isn't something that you can find stats about from, say, the 1992 season. But I'm pretty certain he wouldn't be the first.
I echo this sentiment. This stat didn’t come from me, I never report damage bills in the material I write for broadcast unless the team quotes an actual number, and even then, minor damage happens all the time. It just depends what you define as damage
It's insane how many big media platforms in F1 are just running with a stat someone made on Reddit, without actually checking if it's true.
I was invited to join Tom Clarkson and Laura Winter for the latest episode of F1 Nation, and I tried *really* hard not to ruin it. Listen here: formula1.com/en/latest/arti…

Thank you for your kind words! Hopefully see you at the track in 2025 :)
Wow - you manage, week after week, to have THE worst take and zero understanding of what happened at a Grand Prix. It's a bizarre talent.
We call on the F1 fans of the world to assemble, three months from now, in Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
