“If you take the tyres off and put it on rails, it’s a tram.” Why stop there Steve? It could be a monorail minus a rail, a Maglev on wheels, or a horizontal teleportation machine? Anything to hide your total lack of vision for transport on merseyside.

For 21 months, @BBCNews you have disinformed the public as to the scale, illegality & disproportionality of Israel’s actions in Gaza. Actions that amount to a genocide. BBC journalists, myself included, have been raising the alarm since 2023. This statement comes far too late.

Wolverhampton council has invested in superb new public realm and there is now a pipeline of ambitious development coming forward at St George’s, Brewers’ Yard and Smithgate. Beatties should be the jewel in the crown but it hasn’t moved forward. What are the owners doing?
While Birmingham remains a basket case Wolverhampton looks resplendent. Investment in culture, new public realm, public transport and cleaning up historic buildings to bring them back into use instead of demolishing them 👍
I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Ozzy Osbourne, a true Birmingham icon. Born and raised in Aston, Ozzy helped shape the sound of heavy metal with Black Sabbath and inspired generations around the world. His recent farewell performance at Villa Park was a powerful…
Ozzy Osbourne man. You get so much shit being from Birmingham, about the accent, about the culture. But we always could say "At least we have Ozzy". All around the world it was a badge of pride, that's what we've just lost today. Rest in Rock Stardom 🐂
