It's early, but feels like an easy honeypot to have a table at every nominating convention this cycle with "Free Luigi" buttons.
The replies to a 22-5 team 3.5 up on second and 5 up on third.
fought til the end.
In order to win the TC's DSA endorsement, the most important factor is if you will kneel down and kiss their ring.
And I missed page one.
Put these together-easier. Want to know what Democratic Socialist candidates in the Twin Cities are asked if they support prior to endorsement? It’s all right here in their questionnaire.
I don’t know why you should have to go to an event in person to get politicians to answer questions. This is just a weird hill to die on for @DeWayneForMPLS supporters.
Slam Squad broke the net here ar Target Center. We've been here before....hope they've got the right guy out there!
I'm proud to be a Democrat and think they've done a lot of good for our country
This pretty much sums up my political beliefs at this point, especially the last tweet. 1/3 of Americans are cooked beyond saving but everyone else should have been able to table their beefs with the Democrats for a few years to stop the open fascist from winning.
In Mpls, politics, anyone even slightly to the right of the DSA gets slapped with “Republican” or “Conservative” even if they’re actually closer to the average Democratic voter than the activists throwing the labels (AND even if they worked for the DFL & the current DNC chair)
This is legitimately one of the funniest things I have ever read in my life.
Canvassing is a humble reminder that not everyone is a psycho who is hyper engaged in city politics.
Have you taken sensitivity training since celebrating a constituent’s murder?
Quoting MLK’s Letter From A Birmingham Jail as a means of mocking a black pastor running for office? Yikes. Really disappointing invective coming from Sheriff Witt’s IGR Director.
It’s not a coincidence this is the same segment of the party that treats any call not to be an asshole as “respectability politics (derisive)” and has parasocial relationships with politicians and social media accounts.
It’s so tedious. The “maximalist rhetoric, minimalist results” caucus will excoriate you for positions you don’t hold and for positions *they have abandoned* because they’re so toxic.
I have a theory that if Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, Andy Beshear, etc. tried to participate in the Minneapolis DFL they would be called Republicans. And these are all party leaders. Being a Democrat with your head on straight = Republican to these people.
