Tom Cruise honored the late Val Kilmer with a moment of silence on the CinemaCon stage, recognizing his legacy and films, including Top Gun. “Thank you Val, I wish you well on your next journey”
saddest line in Kilmer’s book is his last thought on turning down the lead in BLUE VELVET: “Maybe it’s not too late. Maybe one day we can finally work together. A character who lives up on Mulholland and doesn’t speak much? David, I am so sorry I never explained myself.”
