"Come on, who flew that!"
Someone had a drone up in the air when Tim and I were in the cab of Mike on board the narrow gauge, somewhere near Brynglas... Who was that?? I would love to see what you captured of this unusual journey!😁 And anyone else who saw us for that matter!
If you're on the fence about adding a Buggleskelly Windmill to your layout, take a look at this new video from Cymru Rails. It really brings his layout to life :) youtu.be/LWb-xjctPlg?si…

It’ll be fun at the Bala Lake Railway tomorrow. With Chaloner and Alice
Can't believe it's been a week already since #AwdryExtravaganza Having stupidly not booked a hotel the night before I decided to drive all the way to Wales really early so that I could see the handover ceremony with Veronica Chambers! It was worth it, well done everyone!

TONIGHT at 6pm BST - The classic story from 'Four Little Engines' as you've NEVER seen it before! 'Sir Handel' presented in LIVE ACTION with narration by the Rev. W. Awdry himself, filmed at the Talyllyn Railway - where it all really happened. youtube.com/watch?v=3Z0hAb…
I think we did quiet well to represent the Irish at Awdry 5, special shout out to our honourable Irish man @EEngine93 🇮🇪
As the #awdryextravaganza begins tomorrow I have decided to pause work on James and bring him as he is. There is still a lot of work to do but I would like to take my time with him and not rush the process. Thomas is coming too with his coaches, see you all tomorrow! 😀

Update. The Tender is broken. As I was spraying primer it slipped off the tray I was holding and fell on to the concrete floor. I've got a plan to fix it, just means it won't be ready in time for the Extravaganza. Absolutely gutted, but gives me time to clean the solder properly.

Thomas is all set for Friday, as for James I have since given him transfer rivets by Railtec Transfers. The next day he was given a red oxide undercoat and then his official red coat. I still find it surreal I've gotten to this stage with him!
