In other news I’ll be exclusively eating beans on toast until next payday
Make sure to join in with the @LicenceToQueer The Other Fellas charity watchalong from 10am tomorrow: licencetoqueer.com/blog/the-other…
Restoring one of my favourite unused bits of score music to Die Another Day - a short piece but with a great cameo by the film's (sadly) unused David Arnold title song, I Will Return, and a fantastic twangy Bondian guitar. No idea why it was cut!
A Daily Mail journalist not being a fan of Tomorrow Never Dies? I’m shocked
Squint and you can see The Daily Mail’s ‘controversial’ top 25 #JamesBond films… Is most of it fair?! 😬
I'd somehow missed this series! Every Bond movie in order, featuring Paddington 🥰 Tomorrow (I presume) is The World Is Not Enough... Which scene do we think Paddington will appear in?

005 years of Licence to Queer! 🎂 What started as a lockdown project to stave off insanity has grown into something much bigger than I ever envisioned. Thank you to everyone who has got involved, at whichever point in the last 1,825 days (where has the time gone?!?!).
In honour of @calvindyson now having the world's largest collection of Albert Moses autographs (two) Albert Mosesposting 2025
Going liiive at 8pm (UK) to open more Bond cards! Apparently Clifton James and Pierce Brosnan are possible signatures from these two sets I'm opening (if I get either, I will lose my mind even more than I did getting a Denise Richards the last time) youtube.com/live/sUT2hbWRY…
When you can't remember who played the bartender in The Spy Who Loved Me
Next time just predict Albert Moses x3 and you’ll be guaranteed at least one correct prediction 😂
Quite like the alternate Timothy Dalton gunbarrel take seen in the music video for The Living Daylights Combined with the other alternate gunbarrel from the TLD trailer, does that make Dalton the only Bond actor with more gunbarrel sequences than films...?
Throughout The Man with the Golden Gun, John Barry gives Scaramanga a menacing, low piano theme (the "his eye may be..." part of the title song) But in the climactic fun house sequence, it's now the Bond theme being played on the low piano - with Scaramanga the one being hunted
Plenty of bull at Birmingham New Street but thankfully none at the @baftss conference! Three great rewarding days including the opportunity to actually give an academic presentation on the Spectre piss filter

Fantastic Vespers and even better views with the ever wonderful @LicenceToQueer tonight in Birmingham 🍸
