Disciple and servant of the Lord, living an abundant life w/my childhood sweetheart, representin' Bensonhurst Brooklyn on the Oregon coast.
How can anyone who has received grace and favor from the Lord God Almighty in the midst of a lost and dying world respond with anything other than pride-crushing humility and a heart overflowing with gratitude?!
The world is spiraling down to the "days of Noah" level depravity. Every day people are dying without Christ, but Christian Twitter thinks a doctrinal position on baptism is the pressing matter of the day.
We've reached the end of human communication. "Let him cook" is a good thing, but "he is cooked" is bad.
The Lord has provided an abundance on Earth to satisfy everyone’s need, but not enough for everyone’s greed.
“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” (Colossians 3:2-3)

Don't gloat about MAGA being in the "finding out phase. “Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles; Lest the LORD see it, and it displease Him, And He turn away His wrath from him.” (Pro 24:17-18)
The embracing of an unrepentant narcissitic pathological liar as the champion of truth and righteousness sure sounds like the "strong delusion" of 2Th 2:9-12.
The LORD has dealt with me more kindly than my sins deserve
“He shall judge between many peoples, and shall decide disputes for strong nations far away; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore;” (Mic 4:3)
We are entitled to the things that we’ve earned, but are grateful for the things we’ve been given.
A heart of gratitude always seeks out things to be appropriately grateful for.
A mind map of verses for husbands, from "ONE: Biblical Marriage, Brooklyn Style"

Living an abundant life in Christ involves acknowledging man's responsibility and God's sovereignty... living a life of gratitude and obedience to the One who saved you.
"Stupidity is not merely a weakness it is a profound and destructive social force that is paradoxically much more dangerous than evil itself." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer
The modern pulpit has suffered from a lack of experiential preaching. What do I mean? Consider the sermons of Spurgeon, Ryle, Samuel Davies, Edwards, and the Puritans—90% application, 10% exegesis. Their preaching was urgent, warm, and searching. Today, that ratio has flipped:…
