I’m sorry to hear the news about Hulk Hogan’s passing, but so glad to know of his faith in Jesus! Right now, he is worshipping in the presence of Christ!
Hulk Hogan flashback: “Once you're a Christian, you've accepted Christ as your Savior. You're not going to perish but you're going to have everlasting life. That belief is pretty much the only thing that is real to me.” Rest easy 🙏
Don’t miss this excellent examination of how social media might be used in the lives of Christians. @D_B_Harrison and @VirgilWalkerOMA are spot on. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/jus…
How did America, a once heavily Protestant nation, become a country in which Roman Catholics hold the largest share of influence among greater Christendom? Protestants abandoned the Bible, for which the Reformers fought so fiercely. We need a return to Biblical exposition.
Tonight at Calvary Chapel Tyler, we begin the book of Nehemiah. Together we will see how God used this man of very practical faith in the rebuilding of Jerusalem. Let’s step out in faith together as we learn from God’s word!

Happy Independence Day, America! May 2025 be a year of revival with men and women coming to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ! We are blessed to live in this nation; let us use our freedom for the glory of God.
Regarding Faith Kepyegon's attempt @breaking4 - Faith did wonderfully as an athlete reaching for her best, breaking barriers. If I have any criticism, it is for Nike which keeps suggesting that tech is the ultimate answer. It isn't. It always comes down to the athlete.
One day I'm going to come on X and find discussion among Christians that keep secondary issues as secondary. Apparently, today is not that day.
Tonight at Calvary Chapel Tyler, we return to the book of Ezra, seeing our God’s superiority over government. Our God can/does use even things such as politics to get His will done. Tonight, it is Ezra 5-6…worship starts at 7pm!

For all those crying about a potential war with Iran, some of us are old enough to remember Iran taking American hostages in 1979. They have chanted "Death to America" for 40 years. I hope we don't see troops on the ground, but they have been at war with us for decades.
James 3:6, "And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell." @elonmusk @realDonaldTrump A little self-control goes a long way.
Psalm 19:7a, "The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul..." What we need are less attempts to make God's word 'cool,' and more attempts at merely letting God's word loose. Just tell folks what God says, and let it lead people to Jesus.
I'm not sure what's worse: the irreverence or the overt insertion of Gen Alpha slang. Who is this supposed to appeal to? The technology is amazing, sure, and it's interesting to see an imagination of what it might have looked like. But does it lead anyone to Jesus?
People are now using AI to depict Biblical stories. Satan didn't have this on his bingo cards.
Our anniversary is not till the end of the month, but considering how June is often used to celebrate the opposite of God's plan for marriage, I thought I'd celebrate the real thing. One man + one woman + submitted under God, for life. This year is 29 years, praise the Lord!

This, 100%. It is galling that local law enforcement officials cannot (or refuse to) call these acts by their name: terrorism.
Setting people on fire while yelling Free Palestine is terrorism. Engulfing the Pennsylvania governors mansion in flames while the family slept upstairs is terrorism. Executing Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim is terrorism while yelling Free Palestine . Relentlessly…
