WWUTT?

When We Understand the Text is a Bible ministry teaching sound doctrine and refuting those who contradict it (Titus 1:9). Look for #WWUTT videos & podcast!
The greatest gospel verse in the Bible. In loving memory of John MacArthur.
Your opinion about any conspiracy theory changes nothing. "Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread. But the Lord of hosts, Him you shall honor as holy. Let Him be your fear and your dread" (Isaiah 8:12-13).
What's a conspiracy theory you believe with your whole heart?
John 6:26-71 is not about the Lord’s Table. It’s definitely not about Roman Catholic transubstantiation, which is taught no where in Scripture.
Roman Catholics in the comments: “Yes, that’s what we believe.” “No, that’s not what we believe.” You know, there’s a solution to all this confusion. It’s called “The Bible.”
Transubstantiation—the Roman Catholic belief that the bread and cup of communion transform into the actual flesh and blood of Jesus—is worse than mere error, and more than false teaching. It’s idolatry. Even their own priests have said: If we’re wrong, we’re idolaters.
I refuse to post any links, but this & others like it are bald-faced lies--in order to get clicks for advertising revenue. AI makes these fake videos possible. There is far too much junk like this on XTwitter & YouTube, and it's next to impossible to get it removed.
What would the reaction be if the SBC President had attended a White Church Leadership and Family Conference? (Not that there should be one.)
Southern Baptist Convention President Clint Pressley saw himself as the “white boy in the room” when he worshipped on opening night at the Black Church Leadership and Family Conference July 21, the guest of African American pastor Gregory Perkins. baptistpress.com/resource-libra…
Incorrect—further evidence of papists living in a vacuum, unaware of what Christians actually believe. True Protestantism affirms what the Bible says. Roman Catholicism is defined by the doctrines they’ve made up regardless of what the Bible says.
Protestantism is defined by what it denies.

Anon upset there was an interracial couple and an Asian couple in a WWUTT video. Show no partiality (James 2:1), and repent.
Cool context. Maybe not have interracial couple in the video, or really just anybody but white people only. Understand what the Bible is.

The disciples James and John were closer cousins to Jesus than John the Baptist. You may only hear John the Baptist was His cousin (distantly related) yet hardly ever hear James and John were His first cousins, as Salome was Mary’s sister (compare Mark 15:40 and John 19:25).
Props to our ministry friends @RevivedThoughts and @ChrisHohnholz for being featured in a @ChurchLead article, speaking truth in the midst of the Chip and JoAnna Gaines controversy.

“Jerome said references to Jesus’ siblings in the Bible were actually cousins!” And Jerome was wrong.
You have to look because you can do something to stop it. Raise a voice to end this wickedness.

Even Roman Catholics doubt this. Joseph of Cupertino was a dim-witted mystic who did lots of tricks, including levitation (illusionists have accomplished this without the aid of elaborate contraptions). This evolved into legends of him flying around. But it never happened.
The Saint Who Flew — and Was Hidden by the Church Not once. Not twice. Over 70 times, in front of popes, nobles, skeptics. He was so disruptive the Church hid him from the public for years. The story of St. Joseph of Cupertino 🧵:
