Gen Z as teenagers were far more obsessed with defining their sexual orientation through identity labels than they were with holding hands, kissing, dating or sexual activity. Gen Z as young adults are lonely, isolated, confused & lacking social skills Coincidence? I think not.
Gen Z’s most insufferable traits are: our addiction to using therapy language, diagnosing ourselves & loved ones to death and the fact that we think of mild discomfort as a legitimate crisis worthy of severing close relationships with others. If we don’t fix this, we’re doomed.
The Gen Z attitude about relationships is setting us up for loneliness. If you like someone in a friendship or romantic way, and especially if you are family, you can’t just go no contact when someone upsets you. You’re supposed to work through things together, like adults.
It’s always good to date sane, decent, stable people. Far better than dating unstable leeches. In order to have a chance of that, being a sane, decent and stable person yourself is a prerequisite.
