The Festool track saw is simply the best track saw that has ever existed. Most Festool tools follow suit. Look at this pristine cut on rift white oak veneer. It’s nice finally having the home shop set up.
A new Saturday morning routine of mine. Waking up and going in a run and then coming back and doing breakfast on the blackstone. Pancakes and bacon may cancel out my run but I like to believe I’m better off had I not ran.

Given the new trade deal with Japan, did I just predict the future??? (Other than the tariff part)
Imagine, Trump exempts the $10,000 Toyota Hilux Champ from tariffs and begins importing to the US. I bet this little utility pickup would become the most popular vehicle on the road within 12 months, guaranteed. They would be the first car to many kids, farm trucks, campers,…
This is a good perspective for just about any new business owner with little experience. Don’t let your ego talk louder than your experience. I started in a 1 car garage making cutting boards at 24 yrs old. I then started making furniture, then commercial furniture packages,…
We get inbound all the time from young private equity dudes who want to own franchises. But most are completely unwilling to start small. Everyone wants a big search fund to acquire multiple units of a blue chip brand in a big 7-figure deal. I get it - It'd be nice to acquire…
This is Jared. Jared is the epitome of the American Dream. Spoiler alert: It ain’t easy. He started a business manufacturing American Made putters from zilch. He posts about his ups and downs but never veers from a top notch quality product. I bought a Hanna putter last…
Hanna Golf survived its first year. A year ago - I hit 'post' on a few social media posts to launch @HannaGolfCo. Had no idea what to expect. I quit my job. I was all-in - for better or worse. I joyfully got my ass kicked. A look back:
What’s the most mid-life crisis car you can think of? I’ll go first:

A 19 yr old college student just did $20k in his first month of starting a service biz. 🤯 This needs to be more celebrated.
Month 1 revenue: $20,148 Didn’t know how to grind a stump or tow a trailer when I started. Learned both on the first job. Just the start. Let’s get it.
Mike Rowe claims all the future tradespeople are currently in the 8th grade. Therefore, we have a major gap in the market. I recognized this early on when starting a business in cabinetry/millwork and it's only become more of an issue over the years. How do we bridge the gap…
Mike Rowe: “We’ve been telling kids for 15 years to learn to code.” “Well, AI is coming for the coders.” “It’s not coming for the welders, the plumbers, the steamfitters, the pipefitters, the HVAC, or the electricians.” “In Aspen, I sat and listened to Larry Fink say we need…
Fear is the difference between taking action and not. Even if you take the leap and don’t “succeed” financially, the experienced gained is priceless. Remaining stagnant due to fear has the highest opportunity cost of them all.
One thing I know to be true: The fear of failure is far worse than actually failing. Failure gives you data. Fear gives you excuses.
I broke through the paci matrix. She clocked in 11 hrs of uninterrupted sleep night 1 of no pacifiers. Thinking of offering a Cold Turkey Paci course…
Just spontaneously decided to take my 2.5 yr old’s pacifiers away tonight. Asked her if she wanted to give them to her baby sister (due in 3 weeks). She said yes. Cold turkey it is then. I choose to believe she is planning her rebuttal as she lies there without pacifiers.

It never gets old seeing incredibly engineered products. Let alone products that help people and become a key component of their life like prosthetics do. Bonus points that it’s a golf product.
Just modeled out a new dresser for daughter #2 due to arrive in the next few weeks. I made my first born’s dresser so I feel like it’s tradition at this point. Will do a more detailed moulding on the doors than what is showed. Washed out rift white oak for the finish and…
