Chick-Fil-A data is out 👀 Average revenue per store came in at $9,317,007. That's a sub 1% decline from 2023, which saw AUV's of $9,374,320. We can talk all day about the model, operators not having equity, etc. But year after year these operators are stacking cash
UPDATE: Crumbl refiled the FDD and the median net profit is now $223k. It was originally $77k.
Crumbl's 2024 data is hot of the press 🚨 Avg profit per store was $251,706. They also finished the year with a whopping 1,059 locations open. After a *big* drop in avg profit in 2023, it is back on the rise. No victory lap for the Crumbl haters this year...
Hilarious esp considering their flash freezing IP makes them way more money than the ice cream. They license all their tech to the plant based meat companies to create pellets that mimic the consistency of fat. In reality, Dippin' dots has been the "meat of the future"
I respect dip n dots bc they’ve been branding themselves as the ice cream of the future for literally 40 years. theyre like hey u never know ! this shit might hit one day lmao who’s to say
POV: a PE search fund bro tries booking a 5pm call to discuss his "franchise acquisition thesis"
TIL Chick-Fil-A has an entertainment app that is #3 in the app store. Current top 3 is: 1) ChatGPT 2) Chick-Fil-A 3) Chick-Fil-A Play The entertainment app has a podcast "Cow Tales" and short films such as "Udder Chaos". Quick question: what the heck is going on?

Opening week transaction record holder in a brand that already *averages* $2.7M per year. Ben is in the big leagues folks
As the (still) opening week transaction record holder in our system Here is my masterlist of things that matter, & things to consider: -Don't care about profit the 1st 30 days. Great if you do, but that's not the focus -Over invite for your Friends & Family events pre-grand…
Utah is a wild place man. The breeding ground of dirty soda. And now Crumbl is getting into the mix... I truly don't understand this category as a customer, and have no idea how it will play out - but could certainly see most of these small brands fading pretty quick

Semi regular reminder that Entrepreneur's rankings are bogus. This is from their "2025 Top New and Emerging Franchises" list. The top 3 brands have a combination of a 10%+ failure rate and/or not sharing any financial data. I assure you there are better brands out there

Is there anyone doing video really well on X?** AKA posting videos that consistently generate high engagement. Most creators I see posting videos get very little engagement compared to their normal tweets. **Besides TBPN who is obvi crushing
Cool opportunity 🚨(sharing as much as I'm allowed) - Friend I know acquired a company that has a really interesting trademark advantage. It's a multi-unit food business that goes in malls, and they already have 20-30 locations. He's looking to hire a CEO who would get…

Pat’s one of my favorite podcast hosts, so it was an honor to finally join him. Pretty wild trying to keep up at normal speed after years of listening at 2x. We got into my history, what I’m building now, where I’m headed, and everything in between. Enjoy. Long FranDawgs!

A federal court just struck down the "click to cancel" rule that would've made cancelling any subscription 10x easier. Live look at Planet Fitness franchisee reactions:
