Hopping on a plane and for the first time in eighty days I will relax and watch a movie. Don't burn down the TPUs too much while I'm gone.

Most builders in fact build trust. In an extremely fast paced domain like AI, you thrive on relationships. When things move extremely fast, you don't need time to strategize or align people in a top-down fashion. Things organically happen.
Met with a googler today who found Gemini CLI and started using it at Google and he couldn't contain his excitement: The TLDR for my past week is I went from "I don't get why everyone is so excited about a CLI for Gemini" to "I think this changes how I think about engineering"
📣 Gemini CLI roadmap It has been so cool seeing everyone building with the Gemini CLI (60k ⭐s!), and sharing feedback (1k open issues 😬) To make things even more transparent the team has made the 🗺️ roadmap public. Take a look and tell us what you think:…

I've been at Google coming on 12 years, and I'm a great PM I swear, but sometimes I wonder if the biggest value I provide to Google is having friends everywhere so it's easy to skip through the bureaucracy and get stuff done at scale
Working with Jaana is a joy you will be grateful to have.
I’m looking for few people who are either experts in TS or Python to work closely with me on a few next generation AI developer frameworks and tools at Google. If you are interested in this overlap, my DMs are open for resumes!
Gemini CLI key highlights for week of 7/7/2025 - Nightly builds can be installed with npm i -g @google/gemini-cli@nightly - Paste images with ctrl + v (jasondasher) - SVG support (PugazhendhiDev) - Better markdown tables (zfflxx) - Configurable headers for SSE MCP servers…
Anyone want to take a crack at this Gemini CLI markdown rendering bug? Issue: github.com/google-gemini/… Figured it'd be a great first issue + I'll review any PRs folks submit. If there's more than one, we can let Gemini CLI choose the winner 😀 #GeminiCLI #GoodFirstIssue #AI
in there now answering

Navigating a large corpus of notes from Obsidian was one of @allen_hutchison 's canonical use cases when we talked about Gemini CLI not only being for software development.
with only a couple of prompts, Gemini CLI can convert a messy folder containing hundreds of notes into a neatly named, well-structured, cross-linked Obsidian knowledge graph all in about half an hour and at minimal cost. from r/singularity/Ryoiki-Tokuiten
Olcan is too humble, for those who don't know he's the mastermind behind Gemini CLI's rich sandboxing support and so much more. He's also the #2 contributor on the repo
Proud to be a contributor on this exciting open-source effort. Looking forward to feedback (and of course contributions) from the community.
We'll be doing a Gemini CLI Reddit AMA this Monday June 30th 9am - 11am PT! Ask us your questions here: reddit.com/r/Bard/comment… Looking forward to seeing everyone! #GeminiCLI #Gemini #AMA #AI
+1 appreciate the feedback it's a lot better
"Google ships their org chart, LOL" was some feedback after seeing the auth options in the Gemini CLI. We've already simplified this, and it reflects dev scenarios: (a) free and easy, (b) higher limits, (c) enterprise-needed control. github.com/google-gemini/…
I use the Gemini CLI to: - debug production incidents, - activate and actuate changes on my CI/CD, - do risk analysis of changes and postmortems, - write slides and docs, - run capacity planning estimates. is WAY MORE than coding.
🧑💻 📊 Generate a slide deck from your Git logs with the Gemini CLI! You'll need the awesome Google Slides MCP by @matteoantoci: github.com/matteoantoci/g… The rest is the Gemini CLI!
Can't believe it. 🤩🤩🤩 And as the comments say, update daily because we're cooking!
