New. Leicester were set to unveil their kit for the new season last week, but the announcement was postponed. Was it because their new sponsor KBET is a hitherto unknown – and illegal – online bookmaker? By Philippe Auclair josimarfootball.com/2025/07/21/run…
I wonder why a young, impressionable footballer, in the SKYBET EFL, while at Stoke whose home ground is the BET365 stadium would get into gambling 2 weeks after turning 18. Really its baffling.

Multiple footballers being charged for betting in the last few days, all while playing in leagues named after gambling companies with ads on their shirts 🙃
#Congratulations to Dr Matt Gaskell, Clinical Lead and Consultant Psychologist at the NHS Northern Gambling Service. He's been awarded an #MBE for ‘Services to People Experiencing Gambling Harm’ in this year’s King’s Birthday Honours. Well done, Matt! @LeedsandYorkPFT
“Susan Whelan wanted to address any concerns over the new front-of-shirt sponsor. Extensive due diligence was undertaken to ensure suitability with the Club’s values and BC Games commitment and Community programmes.” - Leicester City’s official FCC minutes, 24/7/24.
New. Declared bankrupt in Curaçao for not paying punters, BC.GAME, main sponsor of Leicester City FC in the 2024/25 season, moved jurisdiction. But the company behind does not exist. By @MenarySteve and P Auclair josimarfootball.com/2025/06/10/gam…
Today I handed in the petition to Downing Street! More than 42,000 of you have told the government you’re fed up with slots venues. Thank you to all who signed. you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/stop…
it’s nice, but i can’t help but feel it’s missing a giant front sponsor for a chinese crypto casino which has only been in operation since april 2025 and whose directors have no traceable presence in the UK
Port Vale’s new 150th Anniversary shirt is fantastic 🤍
Kept up with this year's Premier League season? Odds are, the gambling industry did too. 👇 Gambling adverts have no place in football sponsorship. It's time for a wholesale ban, to protect children and young people from the harm it can bring. @EndGamblingAds @the_bigstep
“Far too many children are seeing these ads and it’s got to stop.” Our director Will Prochaska on top tier football clubs flagrantly advertising unlicensed gambling sites accessible from the UK.
The link to my @PancreaticCanUK fundraiser in honour of late Mam is here. If you could donate or share my fundraiser it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone! 💜 👇🏻🔗 justgiving.com/fundraising/da…
The second B365 ad I’ve seen that uses a (generic) ‘hand’ to ‘Clive’. Just to be clear I would never voice or contribute to a gambling ad. It’s not me.
My mum was sucked in by a slots venue while undergoing cancer treatment. She'd spend every penny she had there, & often money she didn't have. Councils can't stop these venues multiplying until the laws change. Please sign my petition to make it happen you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/stop…
Revealed: How gambling dominates European football Almost 300 clubs around Europe have betting partners this season, and 1/3 have shirt logos. Some teams exploit loopholes with ‘gateway’ sponsors as campaigners say deals risk pushing more into addiction: investigate-europe.eu/posts/revealed…

We (@LeonXiaoY @ConorHeath) highlight how Gambling operators are acting against the spirit of Italian law, which aimed to ban all gambling sponsorship in sports How? They simply add a non-gambling suffix (e.g. .NEWS) to the logo Will this occur after the UK front of shirt ban?
