With > 5 years of @edit_lab blogs our new index makes finding blogs on particular topics easy. Regular readers will know these range from genetics & mental health to careers in research, encouraging diversity to work-life balance @SGDPCentreKCL @KingsIoPPN @KingsCollegeLon
The EDIT Lab Blog finally has an index!✨ The topics have been curated to make it as easy as possible for readers to select blogs which they desire to read. As part of this, we thought it would be useful to introduce each topic and the blogs they entail. blogs.kcl.ac.uk/editlab/index/

We are supporting the @gladstudy and encourage anyone with #depression, #anxiety or no experience of #mentalhealthdisorders to sign up and join the 50,000 people helping to make a change in mental health research. Sign up at gladstudy.org.uk @NIHRBioResource

Researchers @KingsCollegeLon @QMULBartsTheLon @UCLBrainScience have found #genetic factors that may make people more sensitive to the environments they experience. The study in @NatureHumBehav is the largest genetics study of identical #twins to date. 🔗kcl.ac.uk/news/largest-t…

My wonderful father passed away peacefully this morning. He always made me feel so loved and as if I could do anything I wanted to. I’m gutted he’s gone.

V excited about this #PhD opportunity to work with myself and @Joni_Coleman on how genetic and environmental influences jointly affect the development of #anxiety and #PTSD. Drop us an email if you are interested, we'd love to hear from you! @KCL_MRCDTP @KingsCollegeLon #MRCDTP25

Treating anxiety and depression isn’t a one size fits all approach. Treatment approaches can vary, and what works for one person may not work as well for someone else. Today’s research focus reinforces just that - swipe to see!
GLAD is the world's largest study of anxiety & depression, with 36,000+ participants so far! GLAD data has already been instrumental in multiple research papers crucial to our understanding of mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD.
🔬 We’re highlighting some of the research that’s come out using study data We’re addressing key issues: accurate diagnosis, personalised treatment, and influencing mental health policy Our goal? Better care for everyone💙
Randomly another @edit_lab member is on #amorgos this week & v kindly came to visit whilst I sit like Lady Muck being waited on after I fell awkwardly at the bottom of a ravine, broke my foot, & took 3 hours climbing back out (not a recommended holiday activity). @SGDPCentreKCL
