A quick visit to Northeast Louisiana today. The largest and most diverse agronomic crops region in the state. The LSU AgCenter Macon Ridge Research Station has active research ongoing in corn, cotton, soybean, rice, and grain sorghum.




Louisiana FFA and 4-H had their time to shine at the LA State Capitol today. LA FFA is 27,000 students strong. 4-H programs include over 140,000 youth annually. Our future is bright!!




I had the pleasure of attending our LEAFCS Nutrition Professional Development Meeting today. Amazing professionals realizing tremendous impact. LSU AgCenter Cooperative Extension Nutrition Education Healthy Communities Programs touched over 300,000 people last year.
