I’m hiring a product designer for Sudowrite. This is a dream job for a designer who loves to write. The beginning of the listing is… a mini therapy sesh for me. You’d think it’d be chill after that. But no, it goes on to talk about our company cult… sudowrite.com/jobs/designer
Lawyers are expensive, but *looking* like you have a lawyer is free. Today, I'm happy to announce my latest project, Heavyweight! Heavyweight lets you take any complaint you have, and make it look like a scary legal document without ever actually claiming to be from a lawyer.
💕
This hits exactly right. As a fanfiction writer, I’ve experienced both sides - ChatGPT gives me generic story beats, but when I use Sudowrite with specific character details and plot context, it feels like collaborating with someone who actually knows my story. The “mind-blowing…
This is one of the best job listings I have come across. I have personally used sudowrite to flesh out some ideas and I am very happy that this company is getting bigger :)
what if all job listings just…told the truth?
the most genuine hiring post i’ve ever seen, learned a lot
this is such a beautifully crafted JD and raised the bar for hiring teams everywhere!
Scott was head of all product at Adobe and now he's a partner working on top secret stuff at A24 so he knows what he's talking about but also he's one of our investors so he might be biased take his praise with a grain of salt!!
phenomenal team behind it as well… @sudowrite
tl;dr - it feels good and you should do it
Amazing team and unique culture. @superamit writes so clearly about the *feeling* of working at @sudowrite
a feeling you did not even know was possible awaits you…
Very weird and new feeling: jealousy at the quality of a job posting?? This is not something I ever expected to feel or even knew was possible! @superamit and team are insanely talented, thoughtful, and creative. Everything they do is like this. Very cool opportunity for…
gotten to work with a bunch of projects on our marketing site, so he knows what it's really like to work with us! (and he's amazing)
one of the most thoughtful job descriptions for a product designer I've come across I've had the chance to work with @superamit and the team @sudowrite on a few projects. Few teams genuinely care as much about their customers like they do.
Job posts like this are so compelling, not to mention viral. In 2019 (at Rise Science) we started writing letters to our future teammates. Incredibly powerful. You leveled that up! 👏 (re: the letters in WSJ: archive.is/tQvi8)
sounds like fred is saying everyone should read this job listing
if you are looking for a design job, you need to read this job listing and if you're not looking for a design job, maybe you should read this job listing too!
what is this job description spiderman talks of?? must be amazing and worth reading and retweeting.
Killer JD. Honest writing, full of character and voice. Will attract the people they want and repel those they don't. Even the URL is thoughtful. It's not scalable to do this for every job when hiring many people, but isn't that exactly the point? sudowrite.com/jobs/designer
Went to visit pal and design icon @jessicahische today to talk about a new logo for @sudowrite and somehow walked out of her shop with a new pair of glasses. (Not pictured.) Photo by Jessica's mum!

it's even more enjoyable to apply!
I read this and realized it was the first time I’ve seen a job post that’s enjoyable to read. If you’re a designer and looking for a new adventure, this is an amazing opportunity.
it is not possible. you must apply.
If you needed more proof that @sudowrite is serious about writing, look no further than this beautifully written JD. How can anyone read this and not apply?
What more can any writer hope for?
Wow I read this JD and now feel like a big piece of shit for any JD I’ve ever written.
