"The International Committee of the Red Cross says that explosive remnants have caused at least 748 casualties in Syria since December 2024," reports @tamaradavison_ for @newlinesmag. newlinesmag.com/spotlight/the-…
Every year on July 8 at 11:15 UTC, 99% of the world's population receive some degree of sunlight.
On May 28, 13-year-old Ezzedine was hit by a stray bullet while receiving care at the Red Cross Field Hospital in Rafah. He was transferred for specialized treatment but unfortunately died from his wounds yesterday. We extend our condolences to his family and loved ones.
Another troubling signal from DRC: "A recent survey of more than 100 hospitals in eastern Congo by the International Committee of the Red Cross found nearly three-quarters of them had run out of essential medicines" wsj.com/world/africa/u… via @WSJ
