People disrespect vocalists so much
His main contribution is his strange & iconic voice. He didn't write any Sabbath songs & very few singers even tried to sound like him. In terms of influence, everyone else in the band was way more important. Even his solo work was mainly influential because of the guitarists
phrased as if Ozzy just happened to have a weird voice but no creative talent, which is just very wack cause why would you not consider vocal melodies a crafted contribution? Also, a completely unabashed stage presence that is obviously a major part of Sabbath’s legacy & success?

rich person experiencing mild inconvenience for the first time: i am adolf hitler
One underrated aspect of Ozzy Osbourne was the degree to which his persona laid bare the absurdity of Satanic Panic. He could get Christians all in a tizzy by saying something like “I’m having tea with my best mate… that’s right, the devil!”
this isn't hot take but i'm tired of these hollywood ppl with boatloads of money and resources saying this. FIX IT THEN! put some young up and comers on! i know ppl making dope shit with nothing. i'm executive producing and funding someone else's short film off tv staff writer $
Tarantino said we’re living through one of the worst eras in Hollywood. Do you agree?
Tried to beat the storm back to Colorado Springs and lost.
a rare glimpse of me at 20 with the only photo i have ever taken with a “celebrity”

you are complaining about a movie where an evil billionaire creates a pocket universe and has an army of troll monkeys writing negative tweets about Superman, there's plenty of points to critique Superman for but "using comic book logic" is not it lol
Dear comic book movie fans. You cannot evacuate 11 million people out of a city in 10 minutes. That is all.
morgan wallen's main producer is joey moi, who was nickelback's main producer and the "joey" mentioned in the lyrics to "photograph." all of this seems downstream from the country boom to me, so i was surprised to see wallen not mentioned at all here
over the last few years, i've noticed a change to mine and all my friends' algorithms and taste. it became increasingly clear that butt rock is back baby. and it's more beloved than ever went long on the revival and What It All Means rollingstone.com/music/music-fe…
This is one of the most beautiful images ever put to film

for a while i assumed that ozzy was dumb and the other guys were smart. then i read tony's autobiography and was like, wow this man has barely any understanding of cause and effect and couldn't even pad out 60+ years of material to get to a normal word count
sabbath were so important because they were the dumb beatles. what if you take the biggest working class dropkicks who would have otherwise died at 45 working in a birmingham factory and give them an unholy amount of money and drugs to singlehandedly invent metal as we know it
He was a pretty nothing character but they must have really hated working with this guy lol
In later seasons it kind of seemed like they retconned he ever existed. Not only is he never mentioned times it would make sense to do so - like an episode that deals with Ann Perkins’ old boyfriends mentions a bunch of them including one we’d never heard of but passes in silence
i think what always bothered me about “eat a cheeseburger to get double d’s” type posting is that eating a cheeseburger is the easy part. the hard part is maintaining a consistent diet all day every day forever
