I'm starting to realise how useful @AmpCode's feature where you can share your threads with your team is. I thought it's unnecessary at first but as I'm helping a new member onboard to the team, I realised how useful it is to share a convo with the agent for knowledge-sharing.

Fancy hotel: tiny room, uncomfortable desk, armless chair, weak fridge, $600/night Residence Inn: big room, comfortable desk, desk chair with arms, real fridge, $150/night What am I missing?
In this episode, Beyang and Thorsten discuss strategies for effective agentic coding, including the 101 of how it's different from coding with chat LLMs, the key constraint of the context window, how and where subagents can help, and the new oracle subagent which combines…
Auto-imports: Amp Tab vs. Cursor Tab Amp Tab uses your project’s LSP, so imports are accurate and added inline, so you stay focused and in your flow as you type. Cursor Tab suggests the wrong imports and scrolls to the top. Left (dark) is Amp Tab, right (light) is Cursor Tab.
Everyone codes!

Kicking off my favorite week at Gauntlet AI: Adding significant user-facing features to massive legacy codebases. Older programming languages, versioning issues, convoluted templating, funky CI/CD. AI still must write 100% of the code. Challengers have one week.
The early days of building a company are full of decisions no one prepares you for. Don't miss this opportunity to hear from @sqs about his experience starting @Sourcegraph back in 2013 to now leading it as CEO. Only at DevGuild: Founder Fundamentals. lu.ma/devguild-found…
Switch to Amp to keep building right now You can sign up and install it in <60 seconds (VS Code or fork thereof, or CLI) It's Claude Sonnet 4 plus other models used when needed, and it's magically still up (b/c GCP Vertex redundancy)
claude code is down augment code is down @AmpCode is going strong
LLMs are still terrible at writing prose. There's so much information implicitly encoded in /how/ something is written, and that information is lost when LLMs write for you.
I have 30 minutes of video that I need to edit down and write a post about where I assign the same task to 8 agents (sped up 100x here for simplicity) The tldr is that Amp accomplishes the task with fewer interventions than Claude Code and higher success rates. What’s…
happy coding to everyone except for the people who aren't coding right now
