One thing that I thought I'd miss when using @augmentcode is the planning mode that Claude Code has natively. But the funny thing is, it just works. It knows if it's a quick edit or if it's something that requires more rigorous planning and I haven't missed it as much.
.@augmentcode is good, but very slow. I'm gradually switching my workflow away from Claude Code and will try a few more coding agents
Bullish on what's next for Windsurf
Cognition has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Windsurf. The acquisition includes Windsurf’s IP, product, trademark and brand, and strong business. Above all, it includes Windsurf’s world-class people, whom we’re privileged to welcome to our team. We are also honoring…
Windsurf still has a $15 plan with 500 prompt credits. Is there any other IDE that beats this?
Has anyone tried @warpdotdev ? Great tool, but it doesn't track history like IDEs? Maybe i'm missing something
If you search windsurf on X, Google DeepMind is listed in the top five results

Is Claude Code's performance different when using the api vs when using the max plan?
Biggest red flag in tech? When someone casually mentions they work in "IT"
Fun fact: On Mac, you can use Activity Monitor to check which apps are consuming the most memory. Green is good. Cursor and Windusrf are likely to show up here, but you might find a surprise application or two. For me, it was Brave. I stopped using it and my Mac is SO MUCH…

What browser are you using? I recently found out that Brave consumes way too much memory and has slowed down my 16 GB Mac considerably
While everyone's debating Cursor pricing, o3 on Windsurf is quietly winning.
Does anyone know of an alternative to ccusage for Claude Code? I just got the usage limit reached message, but according to ccusage i'm nowhere even close to hitting the usage limits

Claude Code was amazing just a few days ago. Now it’s noticeably worse. Anthropic won’t say what went wrong or if this is about cutting expenses. The worst part? Users figure it out on their own while the company stays quiet and hopes we don’t notice. That’s how you lose…
this thing is legit so bad rn. the labs should have to disclose what they’re running… it’s completely unacceptable to advertise each of these as the same model. wild stuff honestly.
