Disappointed to see silence from BTC devs @adam3us @peterktodd on @saylor's self-custody comments and now this BlackRock video questioning the 21M cap. Bitcoin's decentralization and principles should be defended loudly, not left in the shadows of corporate influence
Very true. If you didn't read the Bitcoin white paper and this book, your opinion doesn't matter.
🤦♂️ Spare us all. Unless you've read this book, you don't even know what Bitcoin and its intended purpose is... @HijackingBTC
Bitcoiners say Lightning is more private than Monero. So how come exchanges have no problem with Lightning, but won't touch Monero just because you can't track it? Even Brian Armstrong told Lex that's the reason.
Touche 💢💢💢
Why are people not afraid to discuss Lightning⚡️when it's supposed to be more private than Monero?
If every Bitcoin has a history and some are tainted, how is it even remotely fungible? Or is that just something you guys say until someone asks for your UTXO? 🤭
Amazing work! VAI BRASIL! 💪🔥💪🔥
Thanks to @xmrlove we'll join expansion phase. If you're a local from Brazil or even other countries, feel free to convince your local merchants to accept XMR. With enough Proof-of-Work, we'll reward you and your team 😉
So many cheering because Tether froze stolen USDT. But if your money can be frozen, it’s not yours. Today: stop a hacker. Tomorrow: block a protestor or dissident's funds due to court or dictator order. Result: people self-censor. This is worse than banks. We need Monero!
Done. We blocked (in collaboration with law enforcement) the 85,977 USDt stolen.
SHA-256 and RandomX are only the algorithm of each chain. If you mean volume transactions (TPS) Monero currently handles an average of 25 Transactions per second without L2. As it’s blockchain is designed for scalability (Dynamic Block Size), it can handle much more.
just for curiosity, Monero pow can handle the entire btc transactions? if all the ppl just want to jump into xmr will we have enough cpus or we need to do some changes in the protocol?
Serious question for Bitcoiners: If your transaction history is fully traceable and surveillance-friendly, in what way is Bitcoin still "freedom money"? 👀🤷
Bitcoin's time is running out. The king in the shadows is coming!
Tick, tock...
What do Linux users think about this view? I've been thinking of migrating from Windows to Linux but based on @coffnix's view, MacOS is the best option: In 2025, macOS proves Tanenbaum right: microkernels are superior. Apple’s Mach-based XNU offers stability, security, real…
