Early learning rocks: Photo1:First try. Aim: shapes/brushes. Failed. Photo2:After 3-5 days practice+feedback: better comp, but workflow/natural look still needed. Photo3:After 3 weeks (not 2!): rock/comp starts to click, needs polish. Photo4:Now, I can base-rock in 1 day. Faster!
🛠️ Week 02 Back to it after a few days away! Making good progress on the 3D environment blockout—still refining measurements for buildings, windows, doors, etc., but it’s already looking much better. Time to catch up and keep pushing! 💪 #GameDev #3DArt #EnvironmentDesign
Two weeks ago I started sculpting rocks. It was really frustrating. At first they turned out terrible and I had to redo them MANY times, but thanks to @JaviSkau 's feedback I started to improve. I still have a long way to go, but I’m enjoying it now and I’m really proud of myself
📣First post here! Spent the last month working on a medieval fantasy blockout in a mentorship with @JaviSkau. I built structures from online refs (credits to the unknown artists!). Will be tweaking proportions to better suit gameplay. More soon!🛠️ ✨ #GameDev #3DArt #Blockout
