Attending the EoE UEC Masterclass for Improvement event - networking with all our great SNEE colleagues! 👍👏

Shocking stats from today's article in @guardian : Only 4.3% of stroke patients in England can access life-saving treatment! Mechanical thrombectomy is one of the most effective, cost-saving interventions, potentially saving the NHS £73M a year. More resources are urgently…
Well done to @WestSuffolkNHS and Virtual Bones winning the Improving Urgent and Emergency Care through Digital Award. The innovation's regional spread is commendable, with anticipation for broader impact. Congratulations #HSJDigitalAwards
💰 Our ‘Grow Your Dough’ challenge is fundraising for an activity assistant role on ward G4 at West Suffolk Hospital! The team on the ward tell us how meaningful activity with their patients would make a huge difference to their physical and mental wellbeing 👇
I love authentic leadership It’s about being real, honest & being true to your values. Not about authority or pleasing your senior leaders You are just you, are consistent and not playing a role You make personal connections with others, lead from the heart & are honest
Happy New Year to the amazing staff at West Suffolk Hospital. You are all super stars 🌟 Thanks especially to all the staff in team medicine. Looking forward to 2024 to face the challenges and opportunities to continue to improve the care for our patients. We can do this 👍🚑😊
Whether you have been working on the wards, cooking meals for patients, portering, operating, prescribing or everything in between, thank you for your hard work this year. Wishing you a very Happy New Year.
As a fellow NHS Middle Manager who CRIED most days for the first 3 months, let me share why you should rethink your view on Managers in #NHS & stop bashing them Also you can tell me who will do the following instead of them…and no you can’t just “not do” the following…🧵
The solution for hospital flow is for there to be empty beds on wards 24/7 waiting for patients to arrive from the admission areas… Until that becomes a reality we need to look for other marginal gains to improve the safety and flow in the system with the current resource 👇🏻
The North Bristol model of moving ED patients to wards regularly rather than waiting for free beds has been controversial and widely criticised: hsj.co.uk/hsj-health-che… ...
I need this kind of peace.. they not worried about a thing
The NHS collapse - it has taken just 13 years - take a look at this from Channel 4 News
We’re sending a big thank you to our colleagues whose work involves stroke 💙 Our staff do an incredible job supporting patients and their loved ones through the challenges and uncertainties that can come with a stroke. You are all amazing 🌟 #WorldStrokeDay #GreaterThan
Activity co-ordinators in acute older people’s wards in Cork enabled patient-centred care, reduced antipsychotic prescribing and freed up nursing time #igs2023
Operational managers do an exceptional job. Always held responsible, often under valued but always keep things going. No protection from professional bodies/registration. Blamed when things go wrong. I want to say thank you to all the Ops managers & leaders for all you do 👏
Saying goodbye to our GMTS colleague Izzy @WestSuffolkNHS Good luck with the next stage of your training, and thanks for all of your work within team medicine 👍 @CottingtonN @ewenabcameron

Happy 75th Birthday to the amazing NHS….and especially to all those that make it great whatever challenges we face! 👏👏👏🥰 @WestSuffolkNHS @SNEEICB_WS

Wanted to give a huge shout out to all the operational managers across the nation who are involved in the intense planning that goes on behind the scenes to keep our patients safe during strike actions and the subsequent recovery. You’re all superstars 🤩 bbc.co.uk/news/health-65…
