A key point to bear in mind is that Israel is absolutely underwater with Democratic voters right now and has been for over a year. The "coalition" already exists and *has* existed since no later than mid-2024. The problem isn't building the coalition. The problem is leadership.
I just couldn't disagree more. The coalition to end this nightmare has to be big enough to include the anti-interventionist right & a liberal zionist who decided today that it has to end. No one wants to be part of a movement where self-righteous people scolds them upon entry!

I’ve always supported Israel’s right to exist and defend itself. That hasn’t changed. But supporting this government’s actions—allowing children to starve and firing on civilians seeking food—is something I can’t stand by. This isn’t self-defense. It must stop.
