Couldn't be more proud of this show. Thanks to the brilliant team at FYI for working with us and the @DCPcampaign on this excellent investigation into disabled young people's lives featuring findings from the Disabled Children's Partnership's This Is My Life Report, out today.
We examine what life is like for disabled children growing up in Britain today. Watch this weekend on FYI Investigates: Disability and Me @fyi_skykids on @SkyNews and for schools at first.news/fyi
Removal of BTECs will have a real impact on students with SEND who often use these as a stepping stone into higher education or work. This government needs to test any reform against its aspirations to get disabled people into work. share.google/xvoKu3zZ1IPpqP…
Meanwhile @carriegrant1 has done an excellent accompanying piece on how the key to meaningful reform of SEND is "a mindset change in understanding neurodivergence and disability" inews.co.uk/opinion/uk-has…
MPs are looking into the trouble disabled people, carers, & families have in getting vital equipment. They are asking for evidence. These surveys can go into the House of Commons library, so worth 5 minutes if, like us you've struggled. #SEND #disability surveymonkey.com/r/9Q3KFVR
Caregiving is a tough job that affects everyone, regardless of their notoriety or financial status. That's why some big names are using their platforms to help others who are going through the same thing. @jennbisramtv reports. cbsloc.al/3Up3mhD
Tragic, unnecessary end to possibly two lives but definitely one. This is so, so sad.
This isn’t just about one call. Where was the support for this family? theguardian.com/society/2025/j…
Parents are wondering if suspending MPs who represented constituents' views on the welfare bill is more about forthcoming #SEND reform than past rebelliions? theguardian.com/politics/2025/…

I was glad to meet today with these incredible young people who were in Parliament with @DCPcampaign & @letuslearntoo to speak with MPs about their experience of the SEND system and the changes that are urgently needed #SENDcrisis #SEND
Thank you to the many MPs and ministers who came to meet young disabled and neurodivergent children and siblings and parents today. Their stories must be at the heart of any reform. @DCPcampaign @letuslearntoo

Working cross party is a good idea. Working closely with families and young people is even better. @DCPcampaign
Today @EdwardJDavey and @MuniraWilson have written to Keir Starmer setting out five principles for SEND reform, and offering to work on a cross-party basis with the government to ensure the reforms deliver for children with SEND and their families.
Sun readers get it. This is their response to my piece about parents' worry over #EHCPs being axed. Government needs to allay fears and explain how they are going to give disabled children the same rights under their new SEND reforms. @TheSun @DCPcampaign
