What on earth is this? Sunday Life doorstepping a man just because he’s the WM of his local lodge. For what? He’s legally done nothing wrong. They’ve written this like he’s some sort of criminal and even dragged up his business records. People have completely lost their minds.
This is the leader of the Orange lodge embroiled in a row over the scrapping of a kids’ summer camp over the involvement of children from a GAA club. belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sunday-life/ne…
What a thread by the way
Hey, @grok, who was the most famous person to visit my profile? It doesn't need to be a mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was
Any @SDLPlive Councillors or @SineadMcL4Foyle commenting? Just asking for all those businesses & tourists across Belfast. Maybe it’s just because SDLP see some protests good, and every other parade bad. Welcome to ‘brave’ new Orwellian island. @NIAEconomy @News_Letter @Diana_uup

First Ozzy, now Hulk Hogan 😭 RIP
JUST IN - Hulk Hogan has died at age 71.
Speaking of "awful attempts" Gerry. Won't be taking any analysis of this terrible conflict from you thanks.
What an awful attempt at analysing. "Ancient rivalries"...
I’ve come to the conclusion over the past few weeks that everyone in Northern Ireland, and possibly the UK, has collectively lost their minds. I’ve never before seen such levels of contradiction, whataboutery and the constant need to be outraged by absolutely everything.
The full copy of former PSNI officer Sean’s email to Claire Hanna MP over a month ago. I understand it has not been acknowledged. Such a correspondence demands a response and a public statement about the SDLP’s hasty denigration of PSNI culture.
1. I’ll answer this question as SDLP won’t. They did engage with the ex officer known as Sean before their call for a fundamental culture review of PSNI. Sean told Alex Atwood the falsehoods he told the Belfast Telegraph. The SDLP ought to have admitted this after he was exposed.
GAA President Jarlath Burns paying tribute to a former IRA leader Seán Treacy. All week, Unionists have been lambasted for suggesting that the GAA has a political dimension and contains aspects that are problematic and hinder their involvement. These concerns are valid.
GAA President Jarlath Burns proudly remembers Irish Patriot Seán Treacy before Tipperary’s All Ireland Hurling win today 🇮🇪
The last couple of weeks have exposed the extent of the media’s built-in bias against anything Unionist or Loyalist in Northern Ireland. The reactions from so-called “moderates” have hit peak hysteria, with even the most liberal people I know starting to question the behaviour.
I’m not an Orangeman nor a bandsman and my 12th morning was scheduled to be on the golf course but I’ve noticed the frankly incessant demonisation of people many of whom I know who are on the whole decent folks with just a different way of life.
It appears the Belfast Telegraph may have entirely lost the plot in the last couple of weeks. The editor needs to get a grip on his staff. Very poor couple of weeks of journalism
I agree with @ryanpaulwarren here. I see myself as a balanced, reasoned, moderate loyalist. But this continuous onslaught on my community, my friends, my background has really pushed me this year. So much so I've decided to re-engage politically. This cannot go unchallenged.
I’m pretty easy going, but the constant media attacks on Unionist and Loyalist culture are exhausting. Traditions, identity and history get mocked or vilified while others are carefully avoided. I understand why many people out there are fed up and fighting back.
Any buildings being offended @timcairns , asking for an empty office on the Antrim Road? I can do a random check when I’m in Portrush later this morning…. On another note talked to many tourists yesterday who loved both @TheOpen & @OrangeOrder parade @uuponline @NIAEconomy
Portrush parade is in full flow. I can confirm tourists are loving it and none have been harmed

I’ve lost count of how many Orange Halls, memorials and personal property in PUL areas have been attacked this past year. The media don’t seem to have much interest in local community issues until the 30th June comes round, then suddenly it’s wall-to-wall coverage for a month.
Yet another Orange lodge targeted in a disgraceful hate crime. A small rural lodge who do fantastic work in the community. Please contact the PSNI if you have any relevant information related to this attack.

Loyalist band parade bypasses the minds of most overseas visitors to Portrush 👀 Bulk of tourists here to enjoy the golf are unaware of controversy around clashing weekend event belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/northern-…
"Mixed" Irish Language signage all year round ✅ Loyalist Parade on one night ❌ What does shared space really mean?
North Belfast SDLP councillor Carl Whyte has written to the PSNI and Parades Commission after loyalists marched through the mixed Sunningdale Park North area on July 11. irishnews.com/news/northern-…
Disgraceful and despicable. Our children should be free from this type hate! Fair play to the guy for sharing this publicly
@SorchaEastwood @RobbieButlerMLA this man is being told to kill himself? Can this be brought into the spotlight please?
What’s interesting is that many involved in grassroots GAA clubs actually resent the organisation itself whether it be over over club levies, lack of funding, ticket allocation, and yes, most will say they disagree with naming grounds or trophies after Republican terrorists.
Plenty of diverse/passionate views from Comber today. I’m not long back from playing 7-a-side with mates from the Orange Order, Loyalist bands and GAA clubs all together. All we ever talk about is football and how we can raise money for charity. Make of that what you will.
