I had one of the first Rivians in Utah, the screen was responsive Then it got slower with every OTA update and more UI bugs I'd accidentally trigger (not just on purpose as I sometimes do 😆) THEN BOTH SCREENS WENT BLACK WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY Traded it in a week later
I love Rivian. @WassymBensaid’s software team keeps adding amazing features but my dudes… in no way, shape, or form is this level of lag acceptable in any car in 2025—much less one that costs as much as Rivians do. (both gen 1 and gen 2 share same infotainment compute fwiw)
