State Senator proudly representing CT’s 36th District 🇺🇸
⚡️Electric costs are far too high in CT, state policies have helped make them that way, and we need leadership to change course. Here are my full remarks from our press conference on a real energy plan for CT:
Praying for those who tragically lost their lives in the devastating Texas floods and their families in mourning. So too hoping that those in danger currently may be rescued and that the first responders putting themselves in harm’s way for others may be kept safe. A…
CT under one-party @CTDems rule has 1/4th(!) the job growth as the rest of the country! It should be no surprise that the party that brought us the 3rd-highest taxes and electric rates in the nation has brought us no jobs and economic stagnation. Our citizens deserve better:…
CT trails nation in job growth. It’s wage gap is really big too. A new report lays it all out. trib.al/VVBsBHc
An entire WSJ article about why US soda-makers don't use cane sugar (spoiler: we don't "make enough" lol) and not a single mention of highly-restrictive US sugar quotas that keep prices here WAY above global levels? Cmon, man. wsj.com/business/the-p…
Connecticut ranks 47th for its tax code—No wonder we are also in the bottom 10 of all states for economic growth and affordability since Gov. Lamont and Dems won large majorities in 2018. Just imagine how well our state could do with a change in direction.
The 10 states most in need of reform in the 2025 Index: 41. Massachusetts 42. Hawaii 43. Vermont 44. Minnesota 45. Washington 46. Maryland 47. Connecticut 48. California 49. New Jersey 50. New York hubs.ly/Q03xD5g00
⚡️🔌Did you receive your July electric bill yet? Tired of excuses while costs continue to climb? We fought for stronger reforms this legislative session, but Democrats settled for weak half-measures. We hear you and are not backing down! Connecticut residents deserve real relief,…
The man who was arrested for injuring two cops in Enfield is the country illegally. But under CT’s amnesty Trust Act, CT authorities are prohibited from turning him over to immigration authorities despite his arrest. On top of that our taxpayers are forced to spend hundreds of…

Amidst debates over omnibus housing bills, @CTDems will rarely ever acknowledge CT’s sky-high property taxes which crush families of all stripes. If CT had the same property tax burden of the average state we would have *below average* housing costs! The single best move for…
....and Connecticut has the third highest property taxes, according to Realtor.com. And how are our lawmakers making Connecticut more affordable exactly? nypost.com/2025/07/13/rea…

Graduation rates are up. SAT scores are down. Teachers are being told to give 50%, even when students skip tests or turn in nothing. Failure rates are suppressed to protect the system, not student learning.
I am proud to earn high marks for attendance in the Senate, despite representing the district farthest from the Capitol, and view it as a responsibility to vote to the best of my judgement whether it is politically easy or not!

Cam had the highest BPM rating of any NBA rookie who played at least 10 games this year (and the Grizz were quite good). Can’t wait for his sophomore stint #BleedBlue
Totally agree and totally think Cam is gonna be a real guy in the League. He’s athletic, a shooter, a smart defender, and an absolute dawg. Psyched to see him go. The Grizz are gonna be good btw.
Reading about Javier Milei — paragraphs like this should be internalized by every public policymaker in the west
Happy Independence Day from the greatest country in the world! Today and everyday I am proud to be an American! 🇺🇸

The expected election of a socialist who wants to defund the police as mayor of NYC is an opportunity to separate CT and attract jobs and families by cutting taxes and supporting law enforcement. Instead @CTDems want to flatter and emulate him.

For years I proposed legislation to eliminate Public Benefits charges & cut electric bills by 15-20%. @CTDems have rejected that & even tried raising public benefits by more. This year we forced a compromise in SB4 to cut PBs by a tenth but we need future leadership to deliver…

CT job growth goes stagnant; business blames cost of living... go.ctcapitolreport.com/4egglv8
Over the next three years, New England residents are going to suffer more blackouts and pay very expensive electric bills. They must either leave the region or elect better politicians.
