Nebraska's Rienk Mast (knee) has been fully cleared for all basketball related activities, per Fred Hoiberg. The 6-10 Mast redshirted last season, but averaged 12.3 PPG and 7.5 RPG in 2023-24 when the Huskers reached the NCAA Tournament. Significant Big Ten News.

They’re definitely horrendous at the fundamentals, most notably base running, moving base runners/situational hitting and defense.
Be nice if Matt Quatraro had his team ready to play and/or there were any consequences for the atrocious mistakes his team makes regularly.
On the same day Rich Hill made his Major League debut 20 years ago, the #Royals beat the Dodgers 3-1. José Lima picked up his first win of the year with 8 innings of one-run ball. Berroa was at short. Emil Brown was in right. Graffanino was at second. Shane Costa was in left.

Nah, not worried about his velo. He’s so far over his innings totals from last few years that it’s that, if anything. I do think they’ll shut him down 9/1 (as they should). I see no way he’s traded.
@royalsclubhouse does it worry you at all with bubics FB velo being down? He’s been like 90-92 today. If we do decide to sell does he miss some starts later in the year?
The first thing they need to do is completely overhaul BOTH the major league hitting staff but also, throughout the minor leagues.
Yep, but sad part is they got a ton of work to do to be good next year. Just pissing away BWJ’s talent at this point. Playoffs and contention seem to be a distant dream for the Royals going forward
They are not even close to the worst #Royals teams I’ve watched. But the 2025 Royals have to be the most boring Royals team I’ve ever watched.

“selling” btw does not mean tear the entire team down. it simply means take a measured, seller’s approach to the deadline and part with pieces that are not long term (next 3-5 years) contributors. you keep vinnie, garcia, cole, and i’d argue bubic + obvious untouchables

I’m glad it’s becoming clear that they should sell at least. Getting stuck in the middle not knowing the best path forward would’ve been the worst possible thing for the org
