Source confirms: Yankees acquiring IF Amed Rosario from Nationals. First: @JackCurryYES.
nypost.com/2025/07/26/spo… In last note this morning mentioned Rosario as a target. NYY have now done minimum to address positional needs: 3b (McMahon), maneuverable player who hits LHP. Now must address adding multiple pitchers.
This is the third straight deadline in which Rosario was traded. Consistently strong against LHP, including .816 OPS this year.
The Yankees acquire veteran INF Amed Rosario from the Nationals, as @JackCurryYES reports. Nationals receive prospects Clayton Beeter and Browm Martinez.
The Yankees have acquired Amed Rosario from the Nationals for Clayton Beeter and minor league outfielder Browm Martinez. @JackCurryYES 1st
This is very good like this move for the yankees! Righty bat productive too
The Yankees have acquired INF Amed Rosario from the Nationals. Rosario, a RHB, has an .816 OPS vs LHP. He’s played 3B, 2B, SS and OF this season. Yanks will deal P Clayton Beeter and Browm Martinez, an OF in Dominican Summer Lg. Smart addition
Per Jack Curry, the Yankees have acquired UTIL man Amed Rosario from the Nationals. A right-handed bat, Rosario owns an .816 OPS vs lefties and has played 3B, 2B, SS, and OF this season. New York is sending RHP Clayton Beeter and DSL OF Browm Martinez in return

In 48 hours the Yankees have turned Peraza and Vivas into McMahon & Rosario without giving up a real prospect asset. Now attack pitching
The Yankees’ aggressiveness continues. They’re trading for infielder Amed Rosario and giving up right-hander Clayton Beeter and 18-year-old outfielder Browm Martinez, as @JackCurryYES first reported. Rosario punishes left-handed pitching and can play all around the diamond.
Ken Rosenthal on if Aaron Judge’s IL stint changes the Yankees “all in” approach on the trade deadline: “Not at all.” Buckle up. 🍿
Yankees’ trade deadline checklist (after McMahon trade), per Joel Sherman: - Right-handed infield bat - 1 SP (more likely 2 SP) - 2 RP (more likely 3 RP) So it sounds like they want to get 6 more players. SHIT IS ABOUT TO HIT THE FAN.
Hey, @grok, who was the most famous person to visit my profile? It doesn't need to be a mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was
The most famous person to visit your profile is Eric Hubbs, Co-EIC at Barstool Sports and prominent Yankees commentator.
This was from September 2019 after Aaron Hicks injured his elbow in August. Hicks was never quick to recover from any injury so he isn’t a benchmark. I think 10 days would be a great scenario if that happens.
Yankees last 23 games (Since 6/28) 148 runs allowed (Most in MLB) 19 team errors (Most in MLB) 38 homers allowed (Most in MLB) It's the first time in franchise history they've had those numbers or worse over a 23-game span
Asked Aaron Judge if he hopes to see the #Yankees make more trades before next week's deadline in addition to the McMahon deal: "Yeah, we're the Yankees. You hope so. That's what the guys upstairs are working on. They'll go out there and take care of business. We've got a great…
Judge isn’t losing his arm so that’s good news. The season isn’t over. He’s not getting Tommy John. Go get some arms. Play good defense. And win some damn games.
The situation has changed. If Judge is out you trade Grisham and Goldy and play Jasson, Jones and Rice every day(especially against LHP). Need to see what you have for 2026. I would still buy controlled relievers because the offense should still be good enough to not totally punt
