Yesterday, my dad found out I was running the Peachtree Road Race and said: “I’m gonna run it too.” With no training + ATL heat, hills & humidity. I was concerned but he did it and finished strong. His words at the end: “It’s mental — we can do whatever we put our minds to.”
Biggest thing I have to tackle today is hitting the cabana spend requirement.
Gratitude Post: This is a week of putting stress and ongoing obligations aside to rest & recover. Glad I could join the celebration of my friends’ silver anniversary — 25 years! 🥂 The invitation to travel with them allowed me to celebrate them while spoilng myself.
