I think people are so angry online and to one another because we’re actually powerless. Elected officials don’t care, bosses don’t care, the economy doesn’t care, systems don’t and laws don’t reflect care. And we can’t yell at them or change them, so we do it to one another.
It’s worse than “Gaza is being starved and destroyed and no one cares.” It’s that hundreds of millions *do* care and are powerless to stop it. We need a world where that can never happen, where the masses actually have political power.
